Do you have a Mac and Pages? if yes, do not pay a company to design your own business cards when you can do it easily. You not only design to your liking your personal image but also the can print at home or take to a printer, you decide.

Let’s see how we can in just a few minutes (depends on your creativity or requirement) to design and put in the oven your original cards by creating a personal document in Pages.

1. Pages Open a new document and select Blank if you want the riser (like our example), or choose Horizontal blank design for a landscape card.
2. Now create a custom document size to the proportions of what will be your business card, for example, 86 × 54 mm. the size of a credit card, or the one you want. Go to File> Page Setup> choose Manage Custom Sizes … from the Paper Size list. Now click the button and set the width and height of your card and give it some margin (blood) of about 10 mm. and accept the settings.
3. Already have the document with the size chosen, now choose the font and color by going to Format> Font> Show Fonts> then menu View> Show Colors. Write the text of the card, business name or its own web page, e-mail, phone, etc …
4. It is likely that the card you want to add a photo, logo, etc … enable multi-media display show the View menu and drag the image or images you want to add to the card.
5. If you have your finished design, you should group your content. Go to Edit> Select All. Then go to Arrange> Group. Once grouped, you have a single image or card, copy it.
6. Without closing the document created with your card … Again, create a blank document by choosing File> New, blank page of A4 and paste your business card in this new document. Paste as many cards as you can fit to take advantage of printing. Use dynamic guides (Menu Pages> Preferences> Rules …) to align them properly.

Recommendation: Go to the Display Pages and click Show Inspector in this window have more possibilities to adjust and configure the objects of your card, letter, pictures, etc..
